The network of Karuna foundations in Europe, North America and Asia is raising funds to maintain Shechen’s existing projects, and develop new initiatives.
Hong Kong-based Karuna Asia is mandated to coordinate the generosity of the donors across the Far East. Our pledge is that your donation will make a difference. Shechen Projects has initiated more than 30 humanitarian projects since 2001, providing desperately needed services to underprivileged communities in Nepal, Tibet, India, and Bhutan.
Experience in the region and close relationships with local populations ensure efficient and reliable project management. Thanks to dedicated volunteers, our overhead expenses in Tibet are just over 2%. Thus, 98% of funds go directly to the projects in the field.
