How to Help
Over the last decade, Karuna-Shechen has implemented 120 projects in education, health, and social services, benefiting the poorest people of India, Nepal, and Tibet.
Karuna-Shechen’s annual budget is $1.1 million with 7% operating expenses that are fully paid by a generous donor. That means that every dollar you donate goes entirely to our projects. Find out more about our activities on this website and our wishlist.

Karuna-Shechen has worldwide branches through which you can donate:
- Karuna-Shechen Asia Ltd. is a registered charitable organization with the Hong Kong Government. Donations are tax-deductible for Hong Kong residents only;
- Karuna-Shechen Canada is a non-profit with tax benefits for Canadian citizens;
- Karuna-Shechen Europe, based in France, is a nonprofit Association de Loi 1901. Donations are tax-deductible for France residents only;
- Karuna-Shechen USA is a non-profit 501C3 organization. Donations are tax-deductible for U.S.A. residents only.
